The Fredericksburg Regional Military Affairs Council was pleased to host a discussion with Mr. Paul Mann, Program Executive-Sea Based Weapons and Director, Aegis BMD (PD-452), of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
About Mr. Paul Mann
Mr. Paul D. Mann, appointed Senior Executive Service Member (2010), is the Program Executive for Sea-Based Weapon Systems for Missile Defense Agency and Program Director for Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) for Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
Mr. Mann completed his tour as Department of the Navy (DON) Chief Systems Engineer (CHENG) for Assistant Secretary of the Navy Research, Development, and Acquisition (RD&A). Prior to his role as the DON CHENG, Mr. Mann was Division Technical Director for Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD). His decorations boast several awards, including the Army Meritorious Civilian Service Award, the Rear Adm. Wayne E. Meyer Memorial Award for Acquisition Excellence, and the David Packard Excellence in Acquisition Award for JPO MRAP.
Mr. Mann earned his MPA degree from American University in Washington, D.C.
